PTPTN Defaulters Summoned!!!
Wow, so many haven't paid up their PTPTN loans..
The breakdown:-
Malay - 15,457 (83.41%)
Chinese - 1,433 (7.73%)
Indian - 991 (5.35%)
Others - 651 (3.51%)
Looking at the figures, I wonder why they don't want to pay back, it's not that much per month anyway...

THE National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) has sent out a total of 18,532 court summonses to loan defaulters up to October this year. Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khalid Nordin, in a written reply to a question by Amran Ab Ghani (PKR-Tanah Merah), said 15,457 or 83.41 per cent of the defaulters were Malays, 1,433 or 7.73 per cent Chinese, 991 or 5.35 per cent Indians while 651 or 3.51 per cent were other races.
