Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia Scholarship

Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia Scholarship for Further Studies in selected field at local universities for 2008/2009 academic session.

Applications are invited from Malaysian citizens currently pursuing bachelor's degree in Local institutions of Higher Education to apply for the above scholarship under the Technical Lecturers Training Scheme for Polytechnics and Community Colleges to pursue the following discipline:


- Field of study: Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Hospitality & Fashion, Marine Engineering, Commerce & Secretarial Science, Design, Food Technology, Agriculture, Information Technology, General Studies, Mathematics and Science
- Malaysian Citizen
- Age not more than 26 years old on 31/12/2008
- CGPA 2.70 & above
- Good credits in Bahasa Melayu at SPM level & at least MUET band 3
- Active participation in extra-curricular activitites while in college/university
- Not applicable for Pegawai Perkhidmatan Pendidikan Pengajian Tinggi/ Pendidikan

* Candidates who accept this sponsorship are required to serve in any polytechnic/community college under MOHE upon completion of their studies

- Completed forms and supporting documents must reach the mentioned address before or on 13 June 2008


- Only qualified candidates will be called for interview
- Offer is subjected to candidates being accepted by universities approved by MOHE


- Must attend and pass BTN/Orientation Course
- Candidate's parents/guardian have never breached any scholarship contract from any government body
- Candidates who are not contacted or do not receive any feedback from MOHE within three (3) months after the closing date may regard their applications as unsuccessful
